Yat_445 was already a known planet among those who wanted to explore inhospitable worlds. They said you could leave your ship without any problem and start walking. At some point, without noticing, the ship would reappear in front of you. They claimed it happened because of the amount of ammonia in the atmosphere—it disorients you and makes you walk in circles. I think they're wrong. This planet feels alive… and I don’t know how to put it into words. When I arrived, I decided to ignore the warnings. Instead of walking, I lay down and closed my eyes. The weight of my suit helped keep me completely pressed against the ground, stopping the wind from dragging me. My arms began to sink, and suddenly, my whole body was floating somewhere. I felt my suit disappear and found myself completely naked. That fear of being unprotected hit me, like when you sense bad news before it arrives. I opened my eyes. I stood up and looked around. The sky was cloudy, and my ship showed up on the radar over 1,500 meters away from my position. Out of all the explorers, I was the one who experienced this anomaly. Sometimes I wonder if it was just coincidence… or if the writer chose me, like some kind of deus ex machina.
